As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in the daily care and support of our residents. You’ll assist individuals with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment—especially for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, etc.)
- Provide support with mobility and safe ambulation
- Monitor and document residents’ health and behaviors
- Administer medications in accordance with CBRF training and policy
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, when needed
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation
- Provide compassionate memory care using dementia-informed techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the facility
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (Assisted Living or Memory Care a plus)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license (if transporting residents is required)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and health screening
- Current or willing to obtain CBRF certifications
