What You’ll Do
- Work full-time, Monday–Friday (four surgical days and one administrative/patient follow-up day)
- Manage day-to-day front desk operations, including scheduling, patient communication, and check-in/check-out
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation using Symplast and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate surgical schedules and assist with patient preparation and post-operative follow-ups
- Provide administrative support to the surgeon, including correspondence, supply management, and general office organization
- Assist during consultations and clinical visits as needed to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certification as a Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) or Medical Office Assistant (CMOA) preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Symplast
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- English fluency required; Spanish proficiency preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
