Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately following prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations
- Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including state and federal pharmacy laws
- Enter data into pharmacy software systems efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Support medication inventory management, including stock replenishment and expiration tracking
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and supporting medication administration processes
- Ensure accurate documentation of medication intake, drug regulation compliance, and medical terminology usage
Skills
- Proven experience as a certified pharmacy technician
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems for data entry and medication management
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology
