Looking for a Class, B passenger endorsement CDL Driver for a private Denver school.
This is a Monday thru Friday, August thru May position. With 100% possibility of summer work and weekend work if interested. Must be self motivated and pass background check.
Split shift, $ 750 wk guaranteed
Total of 5hrs a day
Summary
As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, including children and seniors, to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in driving, communication, and to ensure a smooth and efficient journey. Holding a valid CDL B with a Passenger Endorsement, you will leverage your premium skills in commercial driving and your relevant experience with children and mechanical knowledge to maintain the bus and assist passengers as needed. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify the bus's mechanical condition and report any issues.
- Assist passengers, including children and seniors, with boarding and disembarking as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with passengers and staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the journey.
- Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, and passenger counts.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL B with Passenger Endorsement
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with passengers, including children
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Customer service experience, with a focus on providing a safe and friendly environment
- or multilingual abilities are a plus
