Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Hospice Nurse based in Tucson, AZ. The Hospice Nurse will provide expert medical care, palliative care, and emotional support to patients and their families. Basic responsibilities include administering nursing care, managing symptoms, offering guidance for end-of-life care, and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality services in both home and clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, Nursing, and Palliative Care.
- Experience in Home Care and Direct Patient Care is essential. Critical Care is a plus.
- Ability to understand and support patients and families with empathy in end-of-life care.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals and families.
- Active RN license in Arizona.
- CPR certification and knowledge of hospice-specific protocols.
- Familiarity with diverse cultural and spiritual practices is an asset.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care nursing is preferred.
