Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, beverage garnishing, and stock replenishment as needed to support kitchen and bar operations
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not necessary; fine dining experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques helpful
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Hospitality background with guest relations expertise; host/hostess experience is advantageous
