POSITION SUMMARY:

MAJOR DUTIES:

The Greeter position performs a variety of funeral service-related tasks before, during, and after a funeral or memorial service, visitations, committal services and other related services under the direct supervision of a licensed funeral director.

Duties – Provides support assistance to funeral operations and licensed funeral directors. This includes working with the public, assisting with funerals, burials, and cremations. The Greeter job duties must be performed consistent with the company mission and values and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated.

Follows all safety regulations, policies and procedures. Reports all unsafe conditions and acts to supervisor. Reports all accidents to the supervisor immediately whenever possible, but no later than end of the employee's work shift. Follows recognized safe work practices.

REQUIRMENTS:

· Valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to: sit for long periods of time, walk, talk, hear and lift objects up to 50 pounds.

· Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
