SUNSET FOOD MART, INC. is currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager at our Northbrook, IL location.
Requirements include:
· Excellent supervisory, communication and customer service skills;
· Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store;
· Manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department;
· Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department;
· Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling;
· Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets;
· Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control;
· High school diploma or its equivalent;
· Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in bakery is preferred;
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
· Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing),32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators),>90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000 annual salary
