What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time cleaning technician position at Sunset Coast Cleaning Service?
Immediately hiring a part time cleaning technician for Monday through Friday evenings starting at 5:30pm. This position requires commuting between buildings in the South Bend/Granger areas. Ideal candidates will have a valid drivers license and their own dependable vehicle. You must be able to work as part of a team and have an eye for detail and take pride in your work. You MUST be able to pass a background check, please no felonies. This position is for approximately 20-25 hrs per week.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping and mopping
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting surfaces, window washing, and restocking supplies
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment handling is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive motions comfortably
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
