Automotive Service Technician Duties

Duties

As a Kia service technician with Sunset, you will be part of a team dedicated to customer service, honesty, and integrity. Just some of your duties in that mission include:

• Perform automotive services and repairs accurately and efficiently, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance and other concerns
• Diagnose vehicle concerns for repair
• Communicate clearly with the service team including parts associates and service advisors
• Document all work performed
  
  

Auto Service Technician Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Automotive Service Technician position include:

• Intermediate to advanced automotive service experience and skills required
• 2 years or more of Kia experience helpful
• Good diagnostic skills
• Flexibility for all types of work
• Own tools
• Valid driver's license
• Verifiable work history
• Ability to engage in heavy lifting
• Basic computer proficiency
• Willingness to continue your education
• Kia certifications preferred, but not required
