We are currently seeking a Used Car Technician to join our team at Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota, FL. Ability to work with all makes and models is required. ASE certifications are strongly preferred. All experience levels considered. Outstanding earning potential.
Auto Service Technician Duties
- Accurately and completely diagnosing any vehicle maintenance, repair, or drivability problems
- Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicating clearly with the service team including parts associates and service advisors
- Documenting all work performed
Automotive Technician Requirements
As a Used Car Automotive Service Technician with Sunset Automotive Group, you must be dependable and ethical and have a firm commitment to customer satisfaction.
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Service Technician position include:
- Intermediate to advanced automotive service experience, all makes and models
- Good diagnostic skills
- Flexibility for all types of work
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Verifiable work history
- Ability to engage in heavy lifting
- ASE certifications preferred
