What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Porter/Greeter - Sunset Chevrolet position at Sunset Auto Group?
We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Service Greeter - Driver - Porter to join our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships in Sarasota and Manatee counties!
We are looking to add a helpful, approachable team member to greet customers as they pull into our service drive and guide them to the appropriate person or location. You will also do some minor pre-checks on the vehicle, place protective covers and tags, transport the vehicle to the service lot and/or into the shop, do minor clean-up and restocking to maintain the drive and customer areas, pick up and drop off customers as needed, and other duties as needed to keep the department running smoothly.
We count on our greeters to provide a positive first impression with our clients, so outstanding customer service skills are essential. Full time schedule, daytime hours, some Saturdays, closed Sundays.
Service Greeter - Porter Requirements
- Pleasant personality and professionalism with clients and staff
- Full-time availability Monday through Saturday to cover open hours 7:30am-6pm M-F and 8-4 Sat.
- Physical ability and stamina to work in and around vehicles for entire shift
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license
- Verifiable work history.
- Previous new car dealership experience a plus

Pay Rate: $16 - $18 per hour, depending on experience.
