Automotive Detailer Duties
Your specific duties as an auto detailer will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles for sale, for delivery, or for customers in accordance with dealership standards
- Using power tools, waxes, cleaning solvents, protective coatings, etc. to restore vehicles to like-new condition
- Performing advanced detailing services as needed: wet sand to remove scratches, buff dull areas, removing water spots, etc.
- Keeping your shop area neat, clean, and organized, following all safety procedures and requirements
- Other duties as required
Auto Detailer Requirements
As an Automotive Detailer, you must be dependable and ethical with a good safety record and an exceptional degree of attention to detail. It is also important that you have a firm commitment to customer satisfaction.
