Position Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused Service Writer to manage the service experience from start to finish. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers and technicians to ensure repairs are clearly communicated, properly documented, and completed efficiently. This is a key position in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns
- Write repair orders and document service requests accurately
- Communicate recommended services and costs clearly to customers
- Schedule appointments and manage workflow in the shop
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Provide updates to customers on repair status
- Handle invoicing and process payments
- Maintain customer records and service history
Qualifications
- 3 year previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in a similar role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Pay is based on experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shop Management Software
- Sales experience or ability to recommend services confidently
- Bilingual (optional, preferred
