Sunset Air is seeking a Residential Service Parts Specialist to support our residential service department by coordinating repair parts, warranty research, customer communication, and repair readiness.
This role is responsible for:
- Receiving, checking in, and verifying parts for residential service repairs.
- Researching parts through vendor portals, warranty resources, Bluon, ServiceBench, and other available tools.
- Preparing accurate customer repair quotes based on verified pricing, availability, warranty status, and company pricing standards.
- Creating repair proposals, exporting them to PDF, and sending them through DocuSign.
- Communicating with customers, technicians, dispatchers, vendors, and warehouse staff to keep repairs moving efficiently.
- Tracking repair status and keeping documentation accurate in the Master Tracker.
- Supporting warranty verification and warranty parts procurement for residential service and construction needs.
- Assisting with over-the-counter parts sales, inventory questions, and warehouse coordination as needed.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment. This position requires strong customer service skills, urgency, empathy, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to balance administrative duties with hands-on parts coordination.
This is not just a purchasing or administrative position. The Residential Parts Coordinator plays a key role in repair readiness, customer experience, technician efficiency, warranty recovery, and overall department profitability.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
