Key Responsibilities
- Operate a front-end loader to load aggregates into customer and inter-company haul trucks
- Manage and maintain aggregate and recycled material stockpiles
- Ensure asphalt and concrete plants are supplied with uncontaminated materials
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections, fueling, greasing, and basic maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate material needs with plant supervisors
- Load trucks efficiently to meet production and customer demand
- Follow all Sunrock, MSHA, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1–2 years of loader or heavy equipment operating experience
- Ability to safely operate a front-end loader in a production environment
- Basic understanding of aggregate materials and stockpile management
- Ability to work flexible hours with no fixed schedule
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required
- Front-end loader operation

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Outdoor work environment, primarily operating equipment in an enclosed cab
