Days of Work and Schedule The camp will operate from TBD to TBD. Overnight hours during weekdays, Monday at 7 AM to Friday at 4 PM (except for one weekend [July 19 - 20th] between Week 4 [July 14th- 18th ] and Week 5 [July 21st-25th]).
Purpose
To provide persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities an exciting camp experience by providing the support and assistance needed.
Qualifications
• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Preferably possess a valid Driver's License that meets company standards for approved driver status
• Must possess basic computer skills and be proficient in the English Language (written and oral)
• High School Diploma or equivalent if required by work location
Essential Functions
Follow the guidance of the Camp Director and Camp Director Assistant for all items related to the implementation of the camp program.
Identifies and reports any suspected abuse or violations of a person's rights.
Provides support, assistance, and supervision for each person to participate in the camp activities.
Ensures that each person's health, safety, and well-being are always protected.
Provides a positive, reinforcing environment that promotes independence and choice.
Follows positioning schedules and uses the proper equipment and assistive devices per each person's plan.
Provides the necessary level of assistance for appropriate diet, texture, and mealtime equipment.
Ensures all cabins, outside areas, and vehicles are well-maintained and organized.
Performs all other duties as assigned
