Buyer / Planner

• Assist the Purchasing Department in the procurement function of the Company ensuring the purchase of quality products at the proper price and delivered in a timely fashion.
• Review MRP reports and requisitions for materials and supplies and place orders on the basis of best cost, delivery and quality.
• Maintain and coordinate the Purchasing Kanban program.
• Coordinate the processing and purchase orders of materials for outside processing.
• Expedite purchase orders as required.
• Assist in the scheduling and expediting of sales orders to meet customer demands.
• Assist in the scheduling of all non-stock and special switches in a manner consistent with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Provide the Sales Department with accurate delivery information for sales orders and quotes.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Plan, schedule and expedite machine components in support of manufacturing schedules and inventory goals.
• Act as secondary contact for the Sales Department for expediting and providing the status of sales orders.
