Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Direct Support Staff to join our Cloverdale, Sonoma County team. In this role, you will provide direct support and guidance to individuals in their homes and communities, helping them achieve personal goals, develop life skills, and maintain a high quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to clients in their daily living activities
- Assist with personal care, household management, and community participation
- Promote skill development and independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and families to create supportive plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in supported living, caregiving, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass a background check
- Clean Driving Record and valid Drivers License
