Responsibilities
- Install solar systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Repair and replace damaged solar equipment to ensure the integrity of the roof.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure job sites are clean and organized.
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including drywall installation, metal stud framing, and plumb work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to roofing projects.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating practices for accurate project planning.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
