Sunrise Services is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join the Human Resources Team!
The Onboarder is responsible for processing all new hires in a timely, efficient manner. Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting team to welcome new hires onto the Sunrise Team!
General Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, compiling, and finalizing required new hire paperwork. Works with Recruiting to seamlessly transition all Services staff from applicant to active employee.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- As instructed by the HR Director; collaborate and implement company recruitment program by: scheduling and organizing new hire paperwork, complete employee data entry into various systems, prepare and send mailings both pre and post hire, follow up on needed paperwork, represent the company at new hire orientation.
- Compile new hire reports as requested.
- Keep client interests and needs a central focus in all onboarding matters.
- Collaborate with HR Director to follow best practices for new hire process.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication (oral and written), listening, and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, flexibility, dependability, professional appearance and demeanor; a positive attitude is essential.
- Ability to work in several HRIS systems, and databases
- Proficient in typing and data entry
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time; ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in stressful circumstances; ability to organize work and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated respect for diversity.
- Demonstrated commitment to developing multicultural competency and sensitivity.
- Displays positive communication skills.
- Adherence to professional and ethical standards of practice.

Educational Requirements, Certifications and/or licenses:
- 1-2 years’ experience with new hire orientation or employee training in a 300 employee company
- DSHS background clearance required.
- Current valid WA State Driver’s License.

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift (full-time)
Compensation:
- $24.04/hour - $31.25/hour
- Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
