What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maple Heights position at SUNRISE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY?
Sunrise Retirement is seeking a Resident Manager for Maple Heights Apartments and Annex.
The resident manager will live rent-free on campus and receive a $500 biweekly stipend. All utilities are paid for with the exception of internet and tv service. As a condition of employment, the occupant of the rent-free apartment must be on premises and be available for emergency calls (24-hour calls, weekends, etc.) except for short periods of time prearranged with management.
Qualifications:Responsibilities include:
- Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Keep common areas clean with supplies furnished by the owner.
- Report maintenance and repair needs of the Complex to Sunrise Retirement management and/or maintenance personnel.
- Monitor the complex to promote well-being of its residents
- Be on the premises at all times
- Respond to emergency call system
- Inform Sunrise Management regarding status (well-being) of Maple Heights residents and relay their concerns or comments on an on-going basis.
- Give tours of complex for prospective tenants as directed.
- Meet or communicate regularly with Sunrise Management staff
- Maintain security procedures for the complex.
This is a HUD property and the applicant must be at least 55 years of age or older to qualify to be a resident.
