In this role, you’ll help create fun, meaningful experiences for our residents—from group games and crafts to one-on-one visits, special events, seasonal decorating, and everything in between. No two days are exactly alike, and you’ll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with the people you serve.

You don't have to be a professional entertainer—you just need to enjoy people and have a positive attitude!

The ideal candidate is:

• Cheerful, patient, dependable, and energetic
• Comfortable working with older adults
• Creative and willing to think outside the box
• A good communicator and team player
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping others
• Able to stay organized and make good use of their time
• Comfortable assisting with pushing/pulling equipment or wheelchairs and lifting supplies up to 24 pounds
• Able to obtain and maintain a current chauffeur's license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. The Activity Assistant will work a regular schedule but may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events, activities, and celebrations.
