Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of women’s recovery housing, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents
- Coordinate with social workers, addiction counselors, and community agencies to facilitate access to treatment, counseling, and supportive services
- Monitor resident progress through regular check-ins, crisis intervention, and motivational interviewing techniques
- Maintain accurate records using EHR software, document incidents, progress notes, and service referrals
- Respond effectively to crises or emergencies by implementing crisis management protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications
- Experience or training in addiction counseling, social work, or related fields preferred
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity; experience in crisis intervention and crisis management is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate residents through motivational interviewing techniques
- Understanding of social work principles and commitment to supporting women’s recovery journeys
