Duties

- Support medication administration processes within hospital or LTC settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, prescriptions, and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of medications and optimal patient outcomes.
- Uphold safety standards by following infection control procedures and maintaining a sterile environment during medication preparation.
Requirements
- Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably with LTC pharmacy, critical care, or hospital settings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and acute care procedures.
- Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred; licensure may be required based on state regulations.
