Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items swiftly and according to quality standards, ensuring food safety and sanitation protocols are followed.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashier duties with precision and integrity.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, kitchens, and food prep stations through bussing, sanitation, and food handling practices.
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling ingredients and managing inventory levels to ensure freshness.
- Support team members by performing duties like food delivery to tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in food handling, cashiering, or customer service roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position.
- Basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations.
