Nap/After Care Teacher
2026/2027 School Year - Starting September 2, 2026
Monday-Friday 12pm-5:30pm

Come be a part of our team of dedicated educators. Sunrise Montessori School is a growing community of learners which serves children from three-years-old through 6th grade.
We are looking for an aide to help with the aftercare program.
This person will create a warm, safe, healthy and nurturing environment where self-direction is enhanced, independence encouraged and individuality respected.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Guides children in positive choices and independence in their environment
- Works as a team with co-teachers
- Light cleaning disinfecting
- Embraces the Montessori approach and the Sunrise Montessori mission statement (we can tell you more about the Montessori philosophy!)
CHARACTER QUALITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Assistant teacher must meet the following basic requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire)
- A clear record through background check
- Have the physical capacity to work with children ages 3-12 years old (lift up to 40 lbs)

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
