In This Role You Will
- Answer and address client questions regarding cyto and pathology questions
- Prepare follow up documentation and letters for abnormal PAPs
- Scan consultation reports into NovoPath and Antrim
- Process physician and patient slide requests and send outs
- Log pathological specimens and verifies completeness of information
- Perform monthly statistical reports
- Transcribe gross descriptions for cytology/pathology specimens
- Maintain pathologist licensing information
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate's Degree, preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office and (specifically) Excel
- Ability to type and demonstrate proficiency and accuracy
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
