Job Summary:
As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
- Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
- Adhere to all policies and procedure of Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
- Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
