Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for strengthening and protecting the Sunrise Irrigation brand through strategic marketing, compelling storytelling, and high-quality creative content. This role develops and executes marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, support customer acquisition, strengthen recruitment efforts, and create meaningful engagement across all digital and community touchpoints.

Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this position combines creative vision with marketing strategy, analytics, and project management to ensure every campaign reflects Sunrise's commitment to service, integrity, education, and sustainability.

This role is ideal for a creative professional who enjoys taking ownership, thinking strategically, and continuously improving the way a growing organization connects with customers, employees, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Support

• Champion and protect the Sunrise brand across all marketing channels. 
• Ensure consistent messaging, visual identity, and brand standards. 
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and market presence. 
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic marketing initiatives and business goals. 

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support customer growth, recruiting initiatives, and community engagement. 
• Coordinate seasonal promotions, service campaigns, initiatives, and special projects. 
• Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging marketing opportunities. 

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Plan, capture, and edit professional digital content highlighting customer success stories, team culture, field operations, community involvement, and company events. 
• Produce engaging short-form and long-form content for all social media platforms. 
• Collaborate with graphics designer to produce advertisements, brochures, presentations, flyers, recruiting materials, and digital assets. 
• Assist in maintaining the company's digital media library. 

Digital Marketing & Social Media

• Manage Sunrise's social media presence across all major platforms. 
• Maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with business objectives. 
• Optimize content for engagement, reach, lead generation, and brand awareness. 
• Assist with website updates, local SEO initiatives, and Google Business Profile optimization. 
• Coordinate email marketing campaigns and digital communications. 

Reputation Management

• Monitor and manage Sunrise's online reputation across Google, Facebook, Yelp, and other review platforms. 
• Respond professionally to customer reviews and online engagement. 
• Develop initiatives that encourage customer reviews and strengthen brand credibility. 
• Track customer sentiment and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Analytics & Performance

• Monitor key marketing metrics including: 
  • Website traffic 
  • Social media engagement 
  • Lead generation 
  • Campaign performance 
  • Customer reviews 
  • Recruitment marketing effectiveness 
• Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements using data and insights. 
• Prepare monthly marketing reports highlighting trends, opportunities, and measurable results. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Attend company meetings, community events and field activities to capture authentic content. 
• Coordinate with outside vendors and marketing partners as needed. 
• Support special projects and company-wide initiatives that enhance the employee and customer experience. 

 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 
• 3 years of experience in marketing, brand management, digital marketing, content creation, or a related field. 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative marketing campaigns. 
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or similar design software. 
• Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns. 
• Working knowledge of Google Business Profile, SEO best practices, and digital analytics. 
• Experience using marketing automation or CRM platforms is preferred; HubSpot experience preferred. 
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

 Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $65K - $75K annually (depending on experience and qualifications)
