LaSalle General Hospital is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant/Mental Health Tech on a full-time basis for the night shift. Guided by compassion, integrity and quality, the staff of the 16-bed unit serves adults and seniors in the Jena and surrounding areas experiencing mental, emotional and behavioral challenges. Experience in behavioral health preferred.
Full-time: Night Shift position available
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in coordinating essential program activities such as activity groups and specialty groups.
- Working closely with all other clinical staff (Recreational Therapist, Social Worker, and Nurses) to conduct various process and specialty groups within the patient program.
- Is integral in assuring that the patient program schedule is carried out as planned by the staff team.
- Performing various duties assisting staff nurses in the psychiatric and physical treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital.
- Interacting with patients in a therapeutic manner at all times and assisting other staff to also maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Assisting patients to perform routine activities of daily living (ADL).
