What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Care and Education Substitute Classroom Aid position at Sunrise Family Resource Center?
Our licensed, NAEYC accredited, 5 STAR Early Care and Education Program at Sunrise Family Resource Center is looking for substitute classroom aids. We are seeking professionals who have experience with children ages 6 weeks to three years who loves to get down on the floor to play and appreciates that early childhood is a messy business.
The ideal candidate will be able to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment, work well in a team atmosphere and provide education and support to parents.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check. Experience working with young children and their parents preferred. Strong organizational skills a must.
Prospective candidates must have the ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting, to be completed upon employment.
Schedule: This is an on-call, as needed, per diem position. Typical hours of our center are Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm, with a 30 minute paid lunch.
Compensation: $16/hour, based on experience
