Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks that may include cleaning large equipment or specialized areas requiring attention to detail.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently.
- Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and general upkeep to ensure the environment remains safe and functional.
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergency situations.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Proven background in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and polishing is advantageous.
- Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance adds value to your application.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and commercial cleaning standards is desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to custodial work and equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
