Merchandise Processor/ - PT/Reedsport

Position acts as a Processor for the Retail Division of Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg, Inc., a private nonprofit corporation that provides community inclusion and employment services for adults with disabilities. This position is responsible for processing, sorting, tagging, and preparing donations/inventory at assigned store. Priority is fast and safe production while maintaining a quality product. May assist in other retail functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in unloading donated products.
• Ring up customers.
• Get job assignments from supervisor at the start of each shift.
• Keep work area supplied with material as needed.
• Assist with other retail functions as needed.
• Perform production duties as requested. Know and follow existing quality control of product or service being produced.
• Keep work area in a clean, safe condition.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in production setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record.
• Must be able to follow directions and work both independently and in groups.
• Proven, stable employment history.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Pass criminal history check.
• Pass drug test.
• Must have ability and desire to relate to persons with physical/mental disabilities with dignity and respect.
