Maintenance Worker

Purpose:

To ensure group homes, facilities, and properties for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are well maintained with quality craftsmanship and meet all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have at least one year of experience in overall maintenance work and general building maintenance

Essential Functions

• Provides regular and preventative maintenance and repairs to facilities as assigned
• Reports any equipment needs and repairs immediately to supervisor
• Maintains the inventory of supplies and equipment in good working order
• Assists in monitoring the regulatory compliance of buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Performs all other duties as assigned
