Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized for efficient operations
- Occasionally assist with residential painting or light maintenance tasks to support overall property upkeep
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures to ensure effective and safe work practices
