What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Sunrise Children's Services?
Qualifications:
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:One to two years job related experience. Must have experience in Excel, Outlook, and other computer programs.
- Must pass background checks and drug test. Must have a valid driver's license. A Food Handler license is a plus. Must be at least 21 years old.
Job Duties:
- Follows a detailed weekly cleaning schedule that is documented and kept for compliance regulations to ensure a sanitary and safe food production environment.
- Maintains temperature charts for food storage (dry, cooler, and freezer), food that is prepared and being held, and equipment used for cleaning and Sanitation (dishwashers and sanitary buckets).
- Oversees maintenance, operation, cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the Food Service Manager.
- Places/assists with food ordering and receiving; including proper storage, inventory, and reporting any damage or risks.
- Prepare balanced, nutritional, and portions controlled meals that have been approved for Sunrise. Services the meals being careful to utilize the proper food handling practices.
- Maintains production records and all other supporting documentation as required of the School Breakfast/National School Lunch/After School Snack programs and other regulatory agencies.
