Job Overview
We are seeking a personable and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders efficiently, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout each shift.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting stations for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Experience in upselling and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
• Previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a hospitality setting
