Lead a team, plan meaningful events, and make every day special for seniors in our community.We are seeking a creative, organized, and compassionate Activities Director to lead the Life Enrichment program in our Assisted Living community. This is a department head position responsible for creating engaging programs for residents while supervising a team of Activities Assistants.If you enjoy event planning, working with seniors, and leading a team, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.ResponsibilitiesPlan and lead a monthly activities calendar that promotes social, physical, and cognitive engagement for residentsServe as the department head for Life Enrichment, overseeing all activities and eventsSupervise and manage a team of 4 Activities AssistantsCoordinate holiday celebrations, special events, entertainment, and resident outingsDrive the community bus for outings when needed (training provided)Maintain activity supplies, schedules, and participation recordsCollaborate with other departments to support a vibrant, resident-centered communityQualificationsExperience in activities, recreation, event planning, senior living, or a related field preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organization and communication abilitiesCreative, energetic, and resident-focusedMust be 25 years or older (insurance requirement for driving the community bus)No special driver's license requiredMust be able to pass a background checkSchedule:Full TimeSome evenings and weekends for special events and outingsBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanSupportive team environmentOpportunity to lead a department and create meaningful experiences for residentsJoin our team and help create a community where residents stay active, connected, and joyful.
