JOB TITLE: Project Manager
JOB LOCATION: Lindon, UT
REPORTING TO: Location Manager
EXEMPTION STATUS: Salary (Exempt)
SUPERVISORY: Yes
FUNCTION: The Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing miscellaneous sales opportunities and various custom projects.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Drive product and service sales by effectively pursuing custom, email, and internet leads.
- Assess customer needs and provide appropriate support/project solution.
- Provide timely and accurate pricing/quote information to current and prospective customers.
- Enter customer orders/transactions in Biztrack and confirm that price, discount level and product requirements are correct.
- Coordinates and schedules installation of SBM products.
- Performs various design and AutoCAD tasks.
- Perform appropriate purchasing and data input activities associated with the fulfillment of custom and miscellaneous orders.
- Coordinate with internal business partners in ensure availability and timely delivery of services and products.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports.
- Investigate new opportunities, markets and products.
- Assist with installation and various field tasks as needed.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- Review, understand, and adhere to Sunroc policies and procedures.
- Perform all duties in compliance with Sunroc safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Effective sales and customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of SBM products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to accurately assess customer project and design needs and provide to provide value-adding solutions.
- Functions effectively as part of a high-performance production team.
- Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Demonstrates professionalism and personal responsibility in the performance of duties.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or the equivalent in relevant work experience.
- Strong computer proficiencies, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Work Requirements - Medium: exerting up to 25 lbs of force regularly.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating equipment.
- Regular exposure to the elements.
