We want someone who is organized, a team player, knows how to effectively manage interpersonal relationships, time, and have a good handle on inventory management. Your day to day schedule consists of daily maintenance tasks, handling any issues that arise, keeping track of inventory, and finding key points where the store can improve. You must be able to learn technology quickly and use systems proficiently. You must be proactive and level headed. Manager is expected to cover shifts when necessary. Responsibilities
- Interact with customers
- Do store paperwork
- Helping complete store orders
- Responsible for inventories of various items
- Running and maintaining accurate cash registers
- Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
- Cleaning and Maintaining all store parts
- Stocking cooler and shelving
- Train employees
- Assures fast, friendly, convenient and courteous customer service
- Assures entire location maintenance and appearance continually meet image standards and expectations
- Recommends enhancements
- Assures effective merchandising through display, pricing promotion and service
- Recommends merchandising strategies
Qualifications
- Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
- High school graduate
- Organized
- Team player
- Strong communication skills
- Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Previous experience in a retail store or as a cashier lead
- 2 year of experience in ordering
- Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
- Knowledge or can learn business related software
- Must have reliable transportation
- Successful track record of developing and implementing construction and maintenance strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
- Must be a self-starter who is able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
