We distribute fuel to more than 7,400 Sunoco and partner branded locations and additional independent dealers and commercial customers · Pipelines Systems: Network of over 14,000 miles of pipelines, distributing crude oil, refined products, renewable fuels, ammonia, and specialty liquids · Terminals: Over 100 fuel terminals in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico Summary Sunoco LP is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas, TX. The requirements for this position are listed below: · Research and gather information from the team to urgently identify and resolve issues and provide guidance to supervisors and leads · Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with internal counterparts to enhance process improvements aligned with company goals · Proactively engages in the learning and development of the team on key systems and processes to support future growth and efficiency · Promotes a culture of learning and development, encouraging team members to master various systems · Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency · Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems · Ensures the integrity of financial data by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and leveraging technical accounting skills to analyze trends in P&L and balance sheet accounts while identifying opportunities for process improvements through innovative solutions · Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics and contributes to the success of the overall team Key Attributes · Builds and maintains collaborative relationships across departments, serving as a trusted leader and advocate for direct reports and accounting teams · Proactively leads initiatives, resolves complex issues, and mitigates risks with minimal oversight, ensuring team efficiency and operational success · Aligns team goals with leadership’s vision by setting clear expectations, communicating strategic direction, and driving cross-functional alignment · Champions a culture of inclusion, transparency, and continuous improvement by fostering open communication and valuing diverse perspectives · Invests in team development through structured career planning, coaching, and mentorship while recognizing contributions and encouraging growth · Identifies process and efficiency improvements, leveraging technology and innovation to support long-term department success · Demonstrates integrity and accountability by modeling clear, unbiased communication, honoring commitments, and holding the team to high performance standards Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
