What You'll Do
- Build and lead Suno's accounting team, including financial reporting, technical accounting, compliance, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Design and implement scalable systems, processes, and controls to support business expansion and operational excellence
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Partner with the leadership to support strategic initiatives and long-range planning
- Serve as go-to expert for complex accounting issues including new lines of business
- Demonstrated success leading accounting at a high-growth tech company, ideally with both direct to consumer and enterprise motions
- Hands-on approach with willingness to get scrappy and dive into details when necessary
- Track record of transforming accounting systems and processes at scale
- CPA certification and strong technical accounting foundation required
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Passion for operational excellence, data integrity, and building high ownership teams
- Experience with SOX compliance and building relationships with external stakeholders
- 10 years of experience in accounting, with Controller or senior accounting management experience
