Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Uphold food handling safety standards to guarantee guest health and satisfaction.
- Promote menu items, specials, and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing is beneficial.
- Experience in food preparation or handling is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
