Personal Assistant 7 hours a week (In-Person) — Goodlettsville, TN

I own a local plumbing company and I’m looking for a friendly, quick-thinking Personal Assistant to help me keep life running smoothly. It’s part admin, part errands, part “keep us on track.” You’ll work in person in a relaxed, upbeat environment where things get done but never feel stiff.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll help me keep everything flowing — figuratively and literally:
- Send LinkedIn invites from a simple spreadsheet
- Engage in local Facebook groups — comment, respond, thank people who tag us, and support other local businesses
- Coordinate email and text marketing blasts (easy plug-and-play templates)
- Help with outreach to property managers, contractors, and real-estate agents
- Drop off the occasional “goodwill treat” to community supporters
- Follow up on texts and emails — you’ll have my phone in your hand a lot! I use talk-to-text often, and you’ll be fixing the robot’s creative grammar choices.
- Run light local errands (picking up parts, packages, or supplies)
- Light home help: fold laundry, quick vacuum, unload the dishwasher, let the dogs out, refill bowls — nothing heavy, nothing gross
The environment is clean, calm, and sunny — music always on, pets lounging nearby, snacks and coffee stocked. Louise (the Roomba) even hustles.
What You’ll Bring
- Comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, and basic LinkedIn tools
(If your idea of social-media experience is “I use Insta and Facebook a lot, I’m in groups, I engage and post often” — perfect. That’s exactly what I mean!)
- Strong communicator who can keep up, take direction, and roll with a fast pace
- Quick thinker who takes notes so we work efficiently (impatience is my worst quality — fair warning!)
- Friendly, sharp, reliable, and organized
- Your own laptop and smartphone
- Comfortable around dogs and a cat
- Background check required
Come as you are — jeans are perfect, nothing fancy, wear whatever you want. I care far more about attitude and effort than what you’re wearing.
Schedule & Pay
- $18-20.00 hr
- 7 guaranteed hours per week with me
- Option to add another 7 hours/week with a trusted local business-owner friend, giving you a steady 14-hour side gig if you want more hours
- Prefer a consistent weekly schedule so I can plan projects, with flexibility for vacations or life stuff, and we can adjust from week to week to accommodate both of our lives.
