Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, and other morning favorites with precision and flair
- Execute menu planning and food production in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking techniques required for diverse breakfast offerings
- Support high-volume production needs during busy service times while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly sanitized, organized, and maintained for optimal operation
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service and catering support when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dietary department roles or dietary aide positions is highly desirable
- Demonstrated culinary experience with menu planning, food preparation, and food safety management
- Strong knife skills along with expertise in cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food handling
- Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments that emphasize high-quality food service and presentation
