Position Summary
- Assists with the installation of solar jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- assists leads, onsite, with solar installation jobs
- optimizes solar panels
- moves materials up to roof/work area
- maintains jobsite cleanliness and order
- assists with attic work
- assists with troubleshooting, as needed
- practices safety standards
- Adhere to all SunnyMac, safety, and environmental policies.
- Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
- Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occurs or is witnessed.
- Support all SunnyMac health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your department.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
- Must have professional experience working outdoors and at heights.
- Must be able to carry 40 pounds up a ladder.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather.
- Must be a team player.
- Must enjoy interacting with homeowners.
- Foster a positive and safe working environment through behavior and attitude.
- Must be willing to get OSHA certified (paid for by the company).
- Ability to diagnose and repair deficiencies in solar products while in the field.
