Position Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair residential PV systems- Diagnose inverter faults (Enphase, SolarEdge, string systems)
- Perform inverter replacements, MPU upgrades, breaker replacements, and surge
- Identify root causes of system underperformance — not just symptoms
- Read and interpret plan sets and as-built drawings
- Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate professionally and clearly with homeowners
- Maintain NEC-compliant, clean, and safe work environments
- Minimize revisit rates through proper diagnostics and quality workmanship
- Work efficiently to reduce drive time and maximize billable time
Requirements and Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.- 3 years of solar installation or service experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on energized systems
- Solid understanding of NEC requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
