What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinetry Installer position at Sunnyfields Cabinetry?
This person is detail-oriented and has a passion for fine craftsmanship. As a member of the installation team, this person will work to ensure the highest level of quality when installing cabinetry, completing trim and other carpentry work, coordinating tools and tool care while also maintaining a stocked truck, able to complete any project that may arise during installation. This person has the ability to manage cabinetry installation from start/delivery to finish with confidence in the product and their skillset.
This person will work on various job sites, the majority of which will be residential, single-family homes. The cabinetry installer is responsible for providing high-quality work while maintaining a professional attitude and nature when interacting with the client, their property, and any subcontractors on the job site.
This person is essential to ensuring that the finished product reflects the high-quality nature of the design and the cabinetry.
Responsibilities
- Install cabinets according to designer specifications
- Custom millwork and carpentry
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe job site
- Proficient use of job specific tools to install cabinetry, hardware, and trim
- Oversee and assist with deliveries and installation
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools & power tools
- Prior cabinet making or installation experience is required
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and written specifications
- Understand work orders, change orders, and all other related job documents.
Position Location
This is a job site position. This position will operate within approximately a 25-mile radius of either our Baltimore office or our DC office.
