What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant & One Year-Old Teacher position at SunnyDays Childcare & Preschool?
Sunnydays is looking to hire an Infant/One-Year old teacher. As an infant teacher you will need to provide a nurturing, engaging and safe environment for the children to develop and reach age-appropriate milestones. You must be able to multitask in feeding, changing, and responding to each individuals' needs. We are a part of the CACFP program that requires detailed daily paperwork to be done at each meal service.
Responsibilities
- Engage with children in educational and play activities.
- Implement age-appropriate learning experiences and activities.
- Support co-teachers in daily classroom management.
- Utilize knowledge of childhood development to promote growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
- Demonstrate patience and understanding during interactions with children.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
The shift for this position may vary from 8am-4:30pm or 10am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday.
Requirements to obtain this job are:
- Pass a federal background check
- Certify in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid (trainer available)
- 12 hours of online training with-in 90 days
